Description: Mrs. Savage has been left ten million dollars by her husband and wants to make the best use of it, in spite of her grown-up stepchildren’s efforts to get their greedy hands on it. Knowing they cannot get hold of her fortune, they commit her to a sanitorium hoping to “bring her to her senses.” In the sanatorium Mrs. Savage meets a variety of social misfits, men and women who just cannot adjust themselves to life, people who need the help only Mrs. Savage can provide! In time, she realizes that she finds happiness with them and plans to spend the rest of her life as one of them. But when the doctor tells her there is no real reason for to remain, she hesitates to go out into a hard world where people seem ready to do anything for money. The self-seeking stepchildren are driven to distraction by their vain efforts to browbeat Mrs. Savage, and she leads them on a merry chase with the help of her new friends. The mood of the play is high comedy and leaves the audience with the feeling that kindness and affection will always triumph over greed and dishonesty.

易胜博 is a Hunger Free Campus
Hunger-Free Campus is an initiative by LeadMN to address food insecurity on community and technical colleges. The 2020 #RealCollege national report shows that 45% of college students in the United States are food insecure. This statistic is consistent with recent Minnesota data that shows 37% of college students have experienced food insecurity, meaning they do not have a steady source of food or cannot afford to feed themselves or their families. A Hunger-Free Campus is a Minnesota State community and/or technical college that is actively taking strides to reduce food insecurity amongst students.
Recently, LeadMN has published a report on the Impact of Hunger Free Campus Designation. 易胜博 is featured numerous times. The report can be found here: LeadMN Impact of Hunger Free Campus Designation
